Cricket was an incredibly tiny kitten when she was found just one day old outside in Baltimore. So small and fragile that she had to be tube-fed by shelter vets for nearly two weeks, Cricket’s early days were a true test of perseverance. Despite being smaller than kittens half her age and battling a slight head tremor, she was determined to grow and thrive. With round-the-clock care from her foster mom Melissa Lucas, Cricket slowly but surely gained weight and strength, showing early signs of her feisty, loving personality.

As Cricket grew, her confidence blossomed alongside her size. She quickly became obsessed with snuggling and attention, always ready to curl up on a lap or under a chin for hours of purring contentment. Though she had a wobbly gait at first, she steadily improved, mastering essential kitten skills like eating from a dish and using the litter box. Her playful sass and adorable quirks made her foster family proud, especially when she figured out how to groom herself like a big cat.

By ten weeks old, Cricket was thriving—no longer a tiny, fragile baby but a spirited, cuddly little tabby who knew exactly what she wanted. She continued to charm everyone with her calm demeanor, intense eye contact, and insatiable love for snuggles. After overcoming so many obstacles, Cricket was finally ready for adoption and a forever home where she could continue to shine as the feisty, affectionate kitten she was always meant to be.
