One ordinary evening on her usual bike route home from work, Matea’s day took an unexpected turn when she spotted a tiny, scraggly kitten wandering near a busy intersection. The kitten, clearly malnourished and alone, waddled right up to her as if seeking help. Without hesitation, Matea scooped him up and carefully tucked him inside her backpack for a safe ride home. With love, care, and patience, Gizmo gradually regained his strength and energy. Today, he is a lively kitten who follows Matea around, full of affection and curiosity, and has even befriended his much older feline sister, Sara.

From a lonely stray to a beloved house “supervisor,” he now enjoys all the comforts of a warm home filled with blankets, toys, and endless cuddles.
